Whimsy's Missions

Mission Name Date Outcome Summary Actions
10 Levels Under the Sea Jun 1, 2026 Success

The agents arrived on the submarine sphere which was slowly descending into a web of seemingly endless kelp. As the agents went further down, they encountered gigantic spider-crab esque creatures that formed air pockets and attempted to ensnare the submarine. Only with the cunning of the four illusionists were the creatures able to be kept at bay. After a spectacular illusory Titanic to distract a leviathan-sized creature at the bottom, the submarine managed to break through into the skies below. This mission was an especially notable achievement for Dr. Thadeus Kane, who upon its completion received his certification as a level 10 Enclave agent.

Johnathin, Whimsy, Violet, and Yagwoo departed from The Enclave’s Portland branch and arrived in the hangar of the MacDiamond Diamond, a diamond shaped prison in orbit around an uninhabited planet. As they arrived, guests for the “Promenade around the Prism” gala had arrived in their shuttle, and were already filing in. The agents found that they had invitations ready in their pockets and presented them to the guard at the hangar checkpoint who accepted their invitations. He offered them face masks to avoid breathing the same air as the prisoners, and waved them through, up a tall, narrow staircase

Arriving on the prison floor, the agents were met with a disheartening sight: the prisoners were being paraded around and forced to perform in entertainment acts for the guests, who were looking down upon the prisoners from the “Civilized zone,” an upper floor situated about 50 feet above the floor. Guests, mostly masked, were waiting in a single-file line to use the single paired elevator up to that zone. An announcement came over the loudspeaker as the Lord Warden bid a brash welcome to his guests, signing off with his catchphrase “MacDiamond is Unbreakable”

Whimsy wasted no time in the long line and instead flew up to the Civilized zone where she did some investigation and found some vents leading upwards to a higher floor. As the other agents waited in line, they encountered a very strange young woman who seemed to be babbling mostly incoherently. They entertained her briefly, but let her move on her way through the line (others seemed to be letting her pass as well). One by one, the agents ascended to the fourth floor— Johnathin, frustrated with the elevator’s sluggishness, performed some improvisational rewiring, speeding up the elevator but moderately damaging it in the process.

Upon arriving at the civilized zone, Johnathin split off from the rest of the party. He bought a drink and then took a wager on a farcical mock trial between the prisoners called “Double Jeopardy,” where a prisoner was tried again for their crime and given a double sentence (in this case, the prisoner had committed academic dishonesty by writing their own paper rather than use a pre-approved artificial intelligence). Whimsy saw Lucy frolicking about and asked a guest about her. He informed her that Lucy was in fact the daughter of the Lord Warden, and was most likely tripping on space acid (it’s like normal acid but worse because space).

Yagwoo and Violet encountered Lucy and had a conversation where she revealed her identity (in a roundabout way) and was suggestible enough to invite the two of them up to visit her father in the penthouse. The three of them, soon joined by Johnathin arrived at the receptionist desk of an ornate building in front of an elevator shaft and though she was initially suspicious of Lucy’s “new best friends,” she let them proceed onwards up to the penthouse. Whimsy takes the “scenic route,” drifting through an air duct to peer into the coming encounter from above.

In his ornate office, attended by four guards sat the Honorable Lord Warden Jeremy MacDiamond, watching his favorite television program- “Where’s my house?!?” where innocent people returned from their work to find their homes demolished. He turned, wondering who the hell Lucy brought with her this time. The agents initially tried a diplomatic approach attempting to present the mission statement given to them by Lady MacDiamond, but Jeremy was not receptive to this.
Even at gunpoint, Jeremy initially seemed more enraged than afraid. He took special offense at the notion that his reactor could possibly be fallible. He believed that “MacDiamond is Unbreakable” and that he was above making mistakes. He demanded that the agents repeated his mantra “The reactor is as MacDandy as a MacDiamond” if they wished to avoid being incarcerated.

Whimsy decided that this was the perfect opportunity to utilize a sonic illusion. She projected the voice of the Lord Warden through the air ducts of the station, in a facsimile of him announcing “The reactor’s gonna blow! Everyone run to the hangar!” Mass panic ensued, and many of the guests evacuated to a lower floor, but in this process, the elevator down to the prison floor from the Civilized zone was broken. The trio in the room began their attack!

In front of Jeremy there were four guards. Two are large with double-sided electro staves. Two are smaller with electro pistols and rocket boosters on their shoes. Johnathin engages with two of the guards.  He landed a debilitating blow on one of the guards, and shortly after managed to throw his sword into another’s  heel, causing them to go wildly veering off course into the chandelier. Jeremy attempts to call for aid but violet blocks off the control panel with a shield wall. Violet summoned the spirits of her deceased salt mining crew and kept the other two guards at bay. Yagwoo caused the room to become dark and spooky before shouting so forcefully that it made Jeremy fly back in his seat hitting the ground, triggering his automatic impact-triggered diamond shield. Johnathin charged forwards and grabbed Jeremy, managing to subdue him, seizing the wallet from his pocket. One of the remaining guards makes a futile attempt to overtake Johnathan. Jeremy ran to his control panel , but after being overpowered on all sides, they stood down.

At this point, the chaos ensuing below became too much for the reactor to handle. An announcement comes on, beginning a five minute countdown to evacuate before the station exploded. Coincidentally, IRL, Violet’s player had to evacuate their dorm because someone pulled the fire alarm, playing the rest from their phone.

Whimsy yelled to throw her the wallet as she had mapped an escape route. Johnathin tossed it down the air vent and Whimsy began running out to find a crowd of people massed in the narrow hallway on the prison floor. She landed amongst them and used a knockback spell, crushing those nearby into the wall and forcibly clearing a path through to the hangar stairs.

Back in the office, Yagwoo cast great and terrible lightning, bringing down the chandelier and banner so forcefully, it shattered through the floor, causing Yagwoo to fall not just through Jeremy’s office floor but also the glass floor of the Civilized zone. Violet caught him with a shield wall slide and the other agents and Lucy followed. Yagwoo trampled through the crowd and Johnathin channeled Yagwoo’s terrible intimidation to shove people up the wall with his standoff.

At the foot of the hangar stairs, Whimsy saw a guard checkpoint barring all but the wealthiest from entering in an emergency. She cast an illusion upon herself, appearing as the Lord Warden and flashed the wallet. The guards parted and she flew out of the station. As she did, the wallet made the transfer and Enclave badges pinged. In deep space, Whimsy teleported out.

Lucy turned to the remaining three and asked if everything was okay. They fought and scared off the remaining garrison and only after getting her aboard an evacuating ship did the others teleport out. The last thing they saw as they left was the beginning of a very large explosion.
