Benedict Sleight

• Gentleman's Rapier: a long, thin sword with a sharp edge and polished hilt

- young man, aged mid-late 20s, with an athletic build and male-model musculature (less for real use, more for show)
- long, dark hair frames face when not pulled back and falls just past his ears / about to the chin
- wears a highwayman's outfit, complete with tricorne hat (flavor for Cowboy Hat class gear), ruffled shirt, overcoat, and mask/bandana that covers his mouth + nose
- mask conceals a very dashing scar across the left cheek considered by Benedict to be a point of vulnerability and therefore shame
- visually inspired by Orlando Bloom / Will Turner in Pirates of the Caribbean as well as by highwaymen from both real-world history and pop culture

- from a Sleepy Hollow-esque world that mostly parallels the colonial United States (or contemporary Britain) but has that touch of the supernatural always on the periphery
- roguish lifestyle of an 18th/19th-century highwayman suited him fine until he crossed paths with an Enclave agent (called Charlotte "Lottie" Crawley), fell in love with her, and followed her into the agency out of pure bullheaded devotion
- this relationship quickly ended, much to his dismay, when Charlotte confessed she was just trying to have some fun... so Sleight now splits his time between trying to forget about his one true love and trying to win her back
- early days at the Enclave included a crash-course in modernity — technology, history, pop culture — studied between missions, arming Sleight with both a better understanding of how the worlds of the manifold operate and a love for sad songs by 2000s-2010s pop artists

- rides a sturdy, dependable, and beloved brown mare called Nan, who has for years been the tortured highwayman's closest companion
