A young man from a modern metropolitan area. Early on he knew he had something special, he had “it factor”. Things just always seemed to go right for him, and wrong for everyone else around him. He’d find money on the street, win random prizes, or narrowly avoid accidents. However those around him often would lose things, hurt themselves, or experience unexpected delays. Riley’s life took a sharp turn when one day a surge of power erupted from him and kicked off a series of events that led to a massive catastrophe, the complete collapse of the office building where he was headed for an audition. His head swam dizzily, then he felt a sudden smack to his head and a cosmic shift, a re-balancing. Suddenly he knew that it was all connected to him and his unnatural luck… and that this tragedy was the scales balancing themselves. Wracked with guilt, he sought to understand his power. He eventually discovered the Enclave, who promised to give him opportunities to train and explore his abilities. He hopes to redeem himself by mastering his powers and making sure that the right people have the scales weighted for (or against) them.
