Crow was the son of a young woman who was her village’s apothecary and healer. One day while he was out gathering herbs, a posse of fanatical witch hunters known as the Hexhunters descended on their hut and murdered his mother, denouncing her work as witchcraft. When he returned, they lied and told him his mother had been killed by bandits that they were chasing. They took him in and indoctrinated him into their beliefs. When he came of age, he discovered the truth of his mother’s death. He hunted down each of the members of Hexhunters in revenge. He has since sought redemption for the innocent lives he’d taken while under the control of the Hexhunters.

He is in denial about his own abilities, believing his skills to be the result of hard work and determination rather than supernatural gifts. When his powers developed he channeled them through his body (physical adept) to reach elite/peak human physicality.

He still harbors a strong distrust of magic from his time spent with the Hexhunters, though he holds on to the memories of his mother as a kind, nurturing magic user.
