You are being sent to the small town of Vaunside Springs during the height of the Calenrheagh Tournament, a nationwide combat competition rendered completely nonlethal by the magical Calen Bands worn by all competitors, taken by whoever defeats them. The tournament's unspoken golden rule, however, is that a victor should never disrespect someone they've beaten, and that is exactly what has happened to Clovis, a longstanding favorite. After being thrashed and humiliated by the cocky upstart Jermayne, and he and his family are itching for revenge. Your job is to knock Jermayne out of the tournament and restore Clovis's honor by recovering his Calen Band.

The Enclave will providing a single Calen Band, which agents may pass between one another but cannot be given to a local.

After porting in, the squad did some sightseeing, watching Calen bouts, chatting with locals, and taking in the excited, touristy atmosphere. They made their way to the local inn and plotted to challenge Jermayne directly, Hemlock even poisoning her drink in preparation.

This was completely derailed, however, when one of Jermayne's posse was found murdered. The mission's tone completely shifted, with local authorities getting involved and more of her associates turning up dead. After a very tense but largely nonviolent confrontation, Clovis's band was recovered, though the man himself was left absolutely distraught.
