The Highfeathers Fall

Atop two of the many branches of The Tytanwood (perhaps the largest tree within Manifold) lie two civilizations, both descendants of the "Caclaw" species (which appear as halflings with bird feet and retractable wings, although they are not capable of full flight). The Highfeathers reside in The Perch, an insular society with an autocratic dynasty that maintains strict control. Meanwhile, several hundred feet below, the "Squawkers" struggle to get by in Whiterain, their shanty-nest. They are frequently raided by the Highfeathers, who have little regard for the Squawkers. The Roostlord of the Highfeathers recently passed, and there is to be an election to determine the successor. The highfeathers have cleared the field for Hawken Highfeather, son of the previous ruler. He is even more militaristic than his father and plans to launch an all-out assault on Whiterain if elected. The only candidate eligible to run is a Squawker by the name of Morris. This will be an uphill battle, both figuratively and literally. The Highfeathers are extremely loath to be ruled by a Squawker, and to that end they cast Morris out of the Perch after a freak storm carried his egg up there, where he hatched. Morris is eager to help his people but... isn't the brightest. The Enclave plans to send aides to help him in his leadership role should he manage to win the election.

Mission Goal: Escort Morris from Whiterain to The Perch and aid him in winning the election for Roostlord. The Enclave has teleporters routed to both Whiterain and The Perch.

Agents may each port into either at their discretion.

Agent Frobisher the Oddball ported into the Perch and located a band of resistance who was not a fan of the Highfeather regime.

Meanwhile Agents Tel the Wanderer and Zell the Freerunner carried Morris up the tree, difficult because he was scared of heights.

Upon reaching the top, they got Morris ready with fancy clothes and hypnotism. They also gave him makeshift wings. Then, Hawken arrived and Zell threw him in the air, proving that he could not fly. Morris spread his wings and proved he could. The crowd went wild and he was elected.
