Narcissus Effect

You guys are being sent to a secluded reflecting pool in the middle of a dense forest. This is the sort of place that even though the surrounding area is not like primitive, it's you could think of it like Victorian era tech level. Uh this little pool has not been found or touched for probably decades if not longer. Uh that said, um a small group of of youths kind of in their late teens to early 20s um recently came across it and it was attributed to the deaths of one of their number. They do not know how. And while the the rest of their their homes kind of mourned the loss and didn't really question it too much because strange things can happen in the woods, you know, someone could wander off and get nailed. Um, this group of of young folk are convinced that the lake, this little reflecting pool itself, is at fault and they have returned to it with poison in order to try to kill whatever is in it. Little do they know, however, that there is something in the lake and it is way more dangerous than they could have imagined and is dangerous in a way they could not have imagined. They are trapped at the lake and it is your job to free them. There are five of them and you lose the mission if more than two die. So again, five youths who have brought poison to a lake to take revenge for a fallen friend. Um they are now trapped at the lake and you need to rescue at least three of them. Obviously preferably all. Uh, in terms of collateral damage, uh, the Enclave has absolutely no problem with you actually poisoning the lake or doing anything of that nature. You can burn down the damn forests if you want, but that may not be productive.
