Muffins is Forever

The Wellspring Cathedral, home to many catfolk has been overtaken by the Stonecollars, a company of cats that run a brewing company. Furthermore a mysterious sickness has started spreading, and the clerics have nowhere to place the sick now that the temple is occupied.

Your mission is to somehow gain control of the temple back from the stonecollars

The agents, Kamari the Samaritan and Theresa the Librarian arrived at the village, finding many sick. After speaking with the client, they made their way to the church, Kamari helping the sick along the way. There they met with Banyan, the very fat and very rude leader of the stonecollars. Negotiations did not bear much fruit. The agents ventured into the basement but Kamari started to feel quite ill as they approached the bottom and turned back. At the bottom Theresa found a lake of booze. She then returned to the top of the stairs and ruined the booze the cats were making before leaving.

In the village, they managed to find Muffins the Cat-God in the bakery, and found out he was magical from the village healer. Soon after, the Stonecollars marched out to confront the agents but with some deft negotiation, Theresa convinced them to return to the church.

Soon after the agents along with all the villagers marched to the church and Kamari kept negotiations going, convincing the cat to agree provided he had a mug of beer in his hand. Meanwhile Theresa went down with Muffins to the basement where he touched the booze and purified it to water. She then revealed that she had a secret alternate method for making booze and whipped up an absolutely delicious brew. With a new business prospect revealed, the stonecallers reluctantly withdrew as the clouds rolled in with their poison rain.
