Why We Sided With a Kidnapper

Agents! We have a serious emergency on our hands.

On the fair streets of Lindle, objects have started... animating themselves. I say, this is quite the predicament! My men are overwhelmed trying to maintain order and we need help, so I'm calling in a favor or three. You shall be ported into the TLTF headquarters. Keep a vigil eye agents, the people of this town are not to be trusted... Your mission is to put a stop to the rampant autonomous animations running amok in Lindle.

From the desk of Takadale Dillyburn, Chief Magistrate of the Takadale-Lindle Task Force

The Agents, Flaco the Gunslinger, Mildred the Vessel, Baldwin the Thane, and Gävle the Survivalist arrived at a police office where they were immediately accused at gunpoint. They diffused the situation before a giant animated pig crashed through the wall, which they managed to defeat. They then argued with the disagreeable client before riding off towards the mansion where lightning was coming from-- lightning which was animating the objects.

They pursued on horseback, fending off attacks from fire hydrants. They found out that a young boy had been abducted by a witch at the manor. They got to the manor and confronted the witch. She agreed to call off her magic if Takadale was killed.

The agents went back to the station, successfully lured Takadale back to the station and ended up killing him. They brought the witch his head and she was true to her word.
