Signature Gear
Martial arts uniform. Activate with a resolute shout to generate an energy aura around the user, heightening their expressiveness and granting Mid magic protection and bonus magical damage to unarmed strikes. Lasts until user stops fighting. Mid Cooldown.
Weighted bands that significantly encumber the arms and legs, increasing Stamina Costs. Remove to gain bonus speed and strength for a Mid Duration, scaling on how relevant the weights’ encumbrance has been since mission start or last removal.
A single small berry. Instantly stabilize all injuries when consumed, no matter how severe, restores one full Stamina Threshold, and causes the consumer to enter an Altered State of extreme over confidence for a Mid Duration.
Timeworn legendary weapon, old and damaged. Activate with a short prayer to revert the blade to its former glory, making it dramatically more deadly and durable and gaining a Pitched (pg24) magical effect for a Low Duration. Mid Cooldown.
Appearance
Desirae appears to be a human standing about 6'10" with messy white hair and bright blue eyes. She has a well-conditioned, athletic frame as if she were at the absolute pinnacle of a dexterity and grace build. She's dressed in a white, blue, and gold stylized martial arts gi with a cropped, black leather jacket. She also has a pair of beaten gold shackles on her ankles and wrists.
Background
Desirae comes from the land of Arcadia, particularly the city of Asha which sits at the bottom of a dormant volcano housing the city of Gleam. Gleam is a radiant city of silver and gold in which no shadows exist. It's an impossible city made by the Candesci, which are tall, shining god-like people that created the humans of Arcadia. The Candesci are in an eternal war with the Caligo, which are hive insect-like humanoids that exist only in the shadows and prey on humans. Desirae found out that the Candesci were planning a "nuclear option," which is to say that they wanted to reawaken the dormant volcano
