A teenager, generally looking to be around 17-19. They have something that looks like headphones and a pouch that's empty, but looks to be heavy with books. The headset has a deployable hardlight visor (Scanner) that they're wearing glasses behind, which has a little holo-interface on it. They're wearing azure robes, lined with golden, almost shimmering threads. The front of the robes, around where a pocket might be on a tuxedo, has an embroidery made by Kiroku. It's something that looks like a seven-pointed star with a ritual circle around it, though it doesn't seem to represent anything.
Note for Scanner - If you want a visual representation, https://mmfcomic.com/comic/04-12/#comic-page depicts it pretty clearly- just ignore panels 2 and 4. Basically like headphones, but with a hardlight visor.
Much of Kiroku's life was in a library. An infinite library, that is- it contained every possible book, written yet or not. And also a lot of books that are complete gibberish. It took them a while to find readable books, and it was a lot of the same life. They picked up their Librarian abilities through there, with their bookbag and abilities like Knowledge is Power drawing books directly out of the library. Eventually, a corporation researching pocket dimensions found their way into the library, and after a week of searching, came across Kiroku. They brought Kiroku back, and they got used to city life fairly quickly. Except for the cars. The cars were really loud. Despite the... abnormal terms and distinctions in contrast to the rest of the Manifold, they managed to begin making a living there guided by a member of the corporation particularly interested in Kiroku.
For whatever reason, the Enclave was also interested in the library pocket dimension, and soon after found out about Kiroku. After Kiroku had managed to purchase the gear they use on mission, the Enclave came to them.
On a somewhat unrelated note, their gear is what happens when you let a bunch of nerds with access to military grade technology commission something. They just removed a couple things to make it… well, legal for civilian use.
Reading Glasses --> Glasses But With A UI (It would be behind the visor screen)
Scanner --> Headset (Bulky headwear, still toggleable)
Perk Concepts:
Modularity + Technobabble - Knowledge is Power can instead grant relevant properties to an object, which may be beyond the realm of plausibility if the change is explained as part of the Paired Action. This change can sustain for a Mid duration.
Oh, By The Way... - You can add related information at the end of a Fun Fact for a Low duration after the usage, as long as it is declared in a similar manner to Fun Fact.
