Pine Busch

Pine is a youngish man of slightly indeterminate age and a dorky, hipster-ish appearance. His features are largely forgettable and generic, and he wears a too-thin windbreaker regardless of the weather (skin of trenchcoat).

Pine is the child of hippie parents with an eccentric taste in names. Despite -- or perhaps because of -- their tendencies to believe in everything as long as it "felt right," he became very scientifically minded as a small child, to the point of rigidity. This all changed when his parents vanished overnight, with all signs pointing to an abduction by some sort of alien being. He followed every possible logical lead but kept coming up empty, eventually coming full circle and throwing himself as whole-heartedly into the paranormal as he had previously avoided it. He found the Enclave through his digging, rather than the other way around, and was finally allowed in when he simply wouldn't go away. He is still trying to bring every bit of information gleaned and skill honed to his search.
