The Fallen City of the Desert pt. 1: Dessert Roadtrip

It was the pearl of the Eastern Peninsula. Al-Victoria was the jewel of Oasisda. But it had dark secrets built upon its foundations. Nobody knew what came first six months ago. Was it the sandstorm? Or the virus? All they knew was, it turned the city upside down in an instant. And the wall designed to keep the rabble out, would be the elites undoing as they were boxed in with nowhere to go when the proverbial hyenas came for the scraps.

The Fighting Fifth of Eylandia came to try and maintain order. But most of them were smart and opted to set up a perimeter around the outer reaches to make sure nobody got inside. Or out. Some went rogue and proclaimed themselves lords of the wastes.

It was dark for six months. But two days ago, a signal came from the Pinnacle Tower. A call for help. They say they've found many secrets regarding this city, and they just need someone to come in and get them out. But it will entail breaching the city, navigating the various packs, dealing with all sorts of threats, etc.

Act one mission statement:
The distress beacon call has finally reached one of the outposts that the Fighting Fifth has established in the so called no man's land. They guard against anyone trying to enter or leave the area who isn't authorized. Needless to say, it is also the closest safest spot to enter, owing to various unknowns in the city.

Orders are to approach the city wall, and find a way to breach it and get inside. Be aware of any optional objectives that may come up along the way.

The agents, Suzie the Hotshot, Zahak the Thunderbird, and Clair the Ardent arrived near an outpost. They approached it and received orders from the commander to escort Adrien the technician to the city gates.

They drove down the road, and got into a scuffle with three Technical vehicles, trucks armed with large mounted guns. They successfully managed to fight their way through with a few bumps and bruises.

They then arrived in the town and managed to fend off a horde that charged at them, in large part thanks to Zahak and his storm giant form. Adrian managed to break through the defenses.
