Mission Statement: A strange.. object has appeared recently in the town square of the small town of Comagena, with a metallic sheen and odd, see-through cylindrical tube attached to it. The villagers have been fiddling with it and have found that this device makes copies of whatever is put into this tube, though it can only do so a bit at a time. Regardless, this has accelerated their importance rapidly as it's being used to duplicate food and money for offerings to the gods as well as to enrich the populace.
Zeno is a philosopher who has been travelling between towns, observing its people and taking notes. He has returned to Comagena to get a look at this device himself, and to check in with some of the people. However.. some of the people who he has notes on.. people claim to have never heard of. Even the mayor is a different person than before, but claims to have been mayor for several years by now.
These oddities, together with this strange device, were enough for Zeno to decide to contact the Enclave. Your goal is to investigate the device and the seemingly vanished people; depending on what you find out, further action to bring things back to being proper may be required.
